Education
Although details of the school curriculum are given in the prospectus there have been amendments to this in recent years. Several changes are itemised below to give a more up to date account.
JUNIOR SCHOOL
In addition, Junior School encompasses a wide subject area including:
Geography, History, Religious Education, Design & Technology, Art & Craft and Information Technology.
Specialist teachers from the Senior School manage the Games, Music and Languages curriculum. Key Stage 1 and 2 assessments are undertaken at the end of Year 2 (Infant) and Year 6 before entry into the Senior School. Individual academic requirements are met through a close working relationship between form teachers and the Learning Support Department where appropriate curriculum amendments can be made.
SENIOR SCHOOL
English, Mathematics, German, Science, Geography, History, Information Technology, Art, Music, Religious Education, Physical Education, Games, Craft & Design, Home Economics, Drama and Citizenship.

Pupils entering Year 10 and 12 are provided with a GCSE or Sixth-Form (Advanced level) Options booklet. These provide substantial syllabus details as well as assessment procedures and examination boards used. The most recent copies are available from the school office.

Saturday morning school is compulsory for boarders and recommended for day pupils in Year 10 and above. Examination skills are developed during this time with past GCSE, ‘AS’ and Advanced level papers being conducted.
