TRAVELLING BY CAR one should exit the M.6 at junction 42 following the directions for Dalston. From DURDAR one can follow the map below.

Glasgow (100 miles), Newcastle (60 miles) and Manchester (130 miles) are the closest and most convenient airports. Most pupils make their way to Carlisle's mainline RAILWAY STATION from where school transport is provided.

An ESCORT SERVICE to and from the major airports can be provided for younger pupils or those travelling to school for the first time.
